Buzz-buzz, I’m a little Bumblebee.
There are sixteen of us here, you see.
Together we sing and dance all day, sometimes teasing in our playful way.
But we are all cheerful little Bees,
always helping friends whenever there’s a need.
Our lovely Bumblebee family
always greets you warmly in the morning with “Hello”.
In our group we follow the principle: I learn, I try, I can do it. Our main goal is that everything a child is capable of doing independently, they do on their own. The teacher’s role is to encourage, guide and assist whenever needed.
Learning activities take place both together and in smaller groups. Group work is organised according to the children’s needs in order to support each child’s development to the fullest, considering their age, abilities and individual characteristics.
The children in the Bumblebees group are cheerful, active and caring towards their groupmates. Older children help the younger ones, comfort them when needed and stand up for them as well. The Bumblebees love spending time outdoors. Whenever possible, we go for walks and explore the surroundings of the kindergarten. Every day we encourage children to observe the constantly changing nature around them. Morning weather observations are also part of our daily routine.
In the Bumblebees group, children learn to notice and care — for themselves, for others and for everything around them.
