Tupsiku private kindergarten and childcare

Tupsiku Private Kindergarten and Childcare is a cozy and child-centered learning environment in Tartu, where children have been able to grow, learn, and explore in a safe and caring atmosphere since 2010

We are located in Tartu, at Mõisavahe 21, on the outskirts of the Annelinna district, in a peaceful and environmentally friendly environment. Our location is suitable for parents living in the Annelinna district and Luunja rural municipality.

We welcome children aged 1.5–6 years. Small groups and a friendly team create a homely atmosphere where every child is noticed, cared for, and valued. We support each child’s natural development through play, movement, music, art, and everyday shared activities, helping them grow into independent, caring, and confident individuals.

One of Tupsiku’s special values is preserving Estonian folk culture and traditions. We celebrate traditional folk calendar holidays, maintain our own beloved in-house traditions, and teach children to respect nature, their surroundings, and one another. For us, a happy childhood is one where play, friendship, and the joy of discovery go hand in hand with learning.

In mixed-age groups, children learn to care for one another and work together – younger children gain inspiration from the older ones, while older children develop responsibility and compassion. At the same time, we smoothly prepare older children for their journey to school.

At Tupsiku, young, warm, and dedicated teachers and caregivers work with heart and passion to create a safe, supportive, and joyful place where children are happy to come every day.
